Q. What happens after I apply for a position?
A. If you have applied for an advertised position Human Resources will review your resume. If you meet the basic qualifications for the position it will be forwarded for review to the hiring manager for the position.
If you have applied for an unadvertised position your resume will be reviewed by Human Resources and kept on file for one year. Please note that if a position is posted after you have submitted your resume, please apply again to that specific position to ensure that you are considered for the advertised position.
Q. How long before I hear from someone?
A. If your skills and qualifications match those of our open positions someone will contact you. Sometimes we receive a large number of resumes, and, although we appreciate the interest of each candidate, we do not contact every applicant.
Q. If a position is listed on the web site, does that mean it is still available?
A. Ross Video updates the available positions listed on our web site continuously throughout the week. Therefore all positions listed on the web site are currently available, unless it has been recently filled within the last 2-3 days.

A. Ross Video Head Office is in Iroquois, Ontario. Iroquois is about 50 minutes south of Ottawa along the St. Lawrence Seaway, and about 20 minutes from the 1000 Islands and Brockville, and about 25 minutes from Cornwall.

Q. Do you have a co-op program?
A. Ross Video currently provides co-op placement opportunities throughout the year to give students real work experience in software development (application and embedded) and hardware development. We normally post open positions through University Co-op offices.
